Vigyan Ashram facilitates developed many new technologies and works for innovations in information technology. They had started IBT courses in high schools. The first batch was started at Shri Bhairavnath Vidya Mandir, Pabal. In 2014, Vigyan Ashram IBT course is conducted in more than 100 schools in states of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Karnataka. They not only helps people in developing the product but also helps people in learning the technology used in building any product.

Vigyan Ashram FABLAB is the first FABLAB in India in support from MIT USA Bits and Atoms. DBRT (Diploma in Basic Rural Technology) is also one of the important course offered by Vigyan Ashram. It is a one year residential course. The course is mainly focused on in skill development for school and college dropout students in rural areas. The course mainly offeres learning things by practically working on them . They learn methodology by doing the thing.

The students get to learn Agriculture, Electricals and motor rewinding, lathe machine, fabrication, welding, food processing. Out of these multiple skills, students gain mastery in their preferred area and interest and develop skills and work on them.
